历史沿革[edit]
草洋1991年设管理区，1999年成立村民委员会。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
双溪口炮台旧址在草洋村东，建在南渡河与花桥水的交汇处，因此得名；旁边是双溪港。据载炮台建于明洪武年间，清康熙二十六年（1687年）《海康县志》把它列为雷州沿海八座炮台之一。它属清代古建筑，2019年4月19日公布为第九批广东省文物保护单位。[2]
