历史沿革[edit]

1958年成立双水大队，1984年设双水乡，1987年2月设双水村委会，1989年称双水管理区，1999年定名双水村民委员会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

双水村在2022年9月获认定为湛江市文明村（2022年度）；2026年3月，被认定为广东省第三批「百千万工程」典型村镇。[1]
