调爽一带有大队（1958年）、乡（1984年3月）、村委会（1987年2月）、管理区（1989年）等建置，1999年定名村民委员会。[1]

  • 该村为「湛江市2022年文明村」，认定于2022年9月。[1]
  • 2018年度「广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位，于2019年9月公布名单，该村在列。[1]
