邦塘村隶属湛江市雷州市白沙镇，是镇下辖的行政村之一。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

邦塘的建制沿革为：大队（1958年）、村委会（1987年2月）、管理区（1989年）、村民委员会（1999年）。[1]

荣誉[edit]

  • 2018年度「广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位，于2019年9月公布名单，该村在列。[1]
  • 该村于2012年12月入选「第一批中国传统村落名录」。[1]

历史与建筑[edit]

邦塘村位于雷州城西北郊，明代起为李氏聚居地，古称奇石村，明代改称“帮唐”，清初作“封唐”，清末光绪年间定名邦塘。村子按北乾、南巽的格局分为南北两个自然村，各有7条对称的巷道和门楼；保存明清古民居百余座，另有文昌祠、文笔塔、学修堂等。[2]据百度百科，现有人口约5000人，邦塘荔枝入选全国名特优新农产品名录（2020年第二批），村落另被称为“中国十大古村”。[2]
