大头竹村是广东省廉江市长山镇下辖的行政村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村里出产一种梢部粗大的竹子，村民遂称村为大头竹。新中国成立初期这里叫徐村，归石城县永平乡；1953年徐村乡属第十三区；1962年大队改称大头竹，1983年起改乡、管理区，1999年改为村委会。[1]
文化[edit]
2019年9月，大头竹村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
