村委会1996年3月由那盘迁到合江村。[1][2]

2021年1月，合江村在湛江市2020年度全市文明村评选中入选。[1][2]

2019年9月，合江村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1][2]

人口民族[edit]

据2005年的统计，全村875户、3096人，汉族约占99%，另有壮族、苗族等；姓氏方面，许姓约占16%，钟姓约占15%，另有郑、黄、张、黎、缪等姓；村民通行白话（约占60%）、哎话和黎话。[1][2]

经济[edit]

耕地共2902亩（2005年），种的作物有水稻、花生、蔬菜和薯类；该年粮食产量1760.5吨，渔业产量236吨，经济总收入为770万元。[1][2]

村里的土特产有蒜头、尖椒、芋头。[1][2]
