村名来历：村址地势低洼，像住在窝里，先民以“窝甫”为名建村，村委会驻地即在窝甫村[1]。

1960年设窝甫公社，1962年改为窝甫大队，1983年为窝甫乡，1987年称管理区，1999年定名窝甫村委会[1]。
