历史沿革[edit]
村名来历：居住地形似葫芦藤上吊着葫芦，先人称“金钱吊葫芦”，以金屋地为名建村[1]。
1960年设金屋地公社，1962年改为金屋地大队，1983年为金屋地乡，1987年称管理区，1999年定名金屋地村委会[1]。
经济[edit]
办事处设在那腊仔村旁，据称是青平最早的革命老区村庄。1945年春，廉江的抗日武装曾在这一带抗击顽军。[1]
