历史沿革[edit]
村名来历：相传每逢下雨都带着花点，起名花露水，又叫花瓶水，后为书写方便写成花平水[1]。
1960年设花平水公社，1962年改为花平水大队，1983年为花平水乡，1987年称管理区，1999年定名花平水村委会[1]。
文化[edit]
- 2019年9月，列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」[1]
经济[edit]
位于长青水库下游，水源较足，水果种植起步早、技术较成熟。[1]
