三角山村是廉江市新民镇的行政村，村委会在三角山村，辖蔡村、石云、赤山、新村仔等8条自然村；村民约3364人，耕地2968亩，种外运菜、荔枝、龙眼，兼营水产养殖。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，村东、南、北三面各有一座山（赤磷山、稔子山、兴地山），连成三角形，起初叫三叉村，后来改称三阁山，新中国成立后定为三角山。[1]1954年属廉江县第六区；1958年为三角山大队，属雷比共同社；1966年归新民公社；1983年改乡，1987年为管理区，1999年成为村委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年1月，该村入选「湛江市2020年度全市先进文明村」及「全市文明村」名单。[1]
