堰头村是广东省湛江市徐闻县新寮镇辖下的行政村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

堰头在1958年设大队，1984年与北尾合并为北尾乡，1988年脱离北尾，设村委会，1991年称管理区，1998年成为堰头村民委员会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2023年5月公布的2022年度广东省卫生村名单中，有辖内的南海头村、堰头仔村、堰头村；2018年度广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单（2019年9月）收有该村。[1]
