历史沿革[edit]

村在1961年设大队；1984年并入下洋乡，1987年独立设下港村委会，1989年称管理区，1999年定名下港村民委员会[1]。

荣誉[edit]

下港村在2021年1月同时入选「湛江市2020年度全市文明村」和「湛江市2020年度全市先进文明村」；村内下港村、新兴村、永兴村在2023年5月获「2022年广东省卫生村」称号；2026年1月获评「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」[1]。
