历史沿革[edit]

头铺大队成立于1961年，1984年改设头铺乡，1986年称村委会，1989年称管理区，1999年定名村民委员会。[1]

2019年9月，列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」。2021年1月，名列「湛江市2020年度全市文明村」。[1]
