历史沿革[edit]
四九村设乡始于1953年，1958年改称大队，1984年重新设乡；1986年成为村委会，1989年称管理区，1999年定名村民委员会。村名来自村委会驻地四九圩。[1]
2023年5月，辖内的梅坡岭村获评「2022年广东省卫生村」；2019年9月，列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」。[1]
