豆村1955年属下洋乡，1956年归七联乡，1958年编为大队，1984年设乡；1986年称村委会，1989年称管理区，1999年定名村民委员会。[1]
2019年9月，列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」。同月，经广东省文化和旅游厅认定，成为首批「广东省文化和旅游特色村」。[1]
