港门镇是广东省湛江市遂溪县下辖的镇，位于遂溪县西南部沿海，西面临北部湾。东邻北坡镇，南接乐民镇，北与草潭镇、杨柑镇相连，镇政府驻港门圩，距遂溪县城68千米。[1][2]全镇辖12个行政村，据百度百科，2019年末户籍人口44996人。[1]1986年12月撤区设镇。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1946年，今港门一带属长发乡。新中国成立后，1951年归遂溪县第七区人民政府；1957年3月区制撤销，辖地并入北坡乡。其后先后隶属红星公社（1958年）和下六公社（1960年）。1961年5月港门单独建公社，不到两年，1963年1月又并回北坡公社；1978年12月再次从北坡公社划出，复设港门公社。1983年11月公社改为区，1986年12月区改为镇，即现在的港门镇。[1][2]

镇名的来历，据博雅地名网所载：当地靠近港门埠、石角埠两处渔港，又是去这两个渔港的必经之路，仿佛两港的门户，因此叫港门。[2]

地理环境[edit]

镇域的地理坐标约为东经109°46′、北纬21°13′，离湛江市区78千米。省道S54和数条县道经过镇境，遂溪县的乐民河穿境而过；镇域沿北部湾的海岸线长12千米，是遂溪县濒临北部湾的重要岸段。[3]

镇域面积，百度百科记为98平方千米，博雅地名网所载镇概况记为105平方千米，其中耕地7.52万亩、林地3.74万亩，另有海洋滩涂1万多亩。[1][3]

据百度百科，2019年末全镇户籍人口44996人。[1]第七次全国人口普查（2020年）的结果为3.09万人，在遂溪县各乡镇街道中居第10位。[2]博雅地名网所载镇概况称，2023年全镇有12个行政村、105个自然村，总人口约4.4万人。[3]

当地的土特产有货湖的铁皮石斛、吴家的荔枝和龙眼、红心火龙果以及番薯。[3]镇概况称，2024年全镇粮食作物播种面积3.5万亩，产量超过3万吨；镇里成立了全县第一个镇级产业振兴促进会，并推出「港门优品」区域公用品牌。[3]

据镇概况，2024年全镇地区生产总值为17.7亿元，三次产业分别是10.6亿元、0.8亿元和6.3亿元；市场主体方面，登记的个体户1660多户、企业111家，另有农民专业合作社46个。[3]镇上有圩市1个，圩日为每月农历带「9」的日子。[3]百度百科引用的2019年数据则是：全镇有工业企业2个，其中规模以上1个；营业面积50平方米以上的综合商店或超市5个。[1]
