历史沿革[edit]

1953年以前西湾属山马行政村，1954年归老马乡；1958年迁出另建，成立西湾大队；1983年称乡，1986年设村委会，1989年称管理区，1999年为村民委员会。[1]

经济[edit]

广东省农业农村厅在2022年10月把西湾村认定为圣女果方面的省级“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村。[1]西湾村委会下的江头村人陈土松，2019年回乡任村党支部副书记，同年创办圣女果种植与育苗公司。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，西湾村列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位名单」；2023年5月获评2022年广东省卫生村。[1]
