名称来历：办事处设在城内，由此得名。[1]

建制变迁：1958年称城南大队，1980年改称城内大队，1983年设城内管理区，1986年成居委会，1989年一度又恢复管理区，1999年定名城内居民委员会，2002年起称城内社区居民委员会。[1]
