麒麟村在湛江市麻章区太平镇，临通明海湾下游东岸，离湛江市区约33千米[1]。村里每年农历二月十一、十二日办年例，其中的「爬刀梯」是流传当地的民俗活动[1]。

据介绍，村子由雷州都司陈大纶的先人在明代末年建立[1]。博雅地名网在这个区划代码（440811101220）下写作其连村，称它在2022年9月获湛江市认定为2022年度文明村[2]。

文化[edit]

村里建庙奉祀张兴武侯帅上帝，二月十一、十二日的年例据说已有四百多年，内容有游神、走轿、爬刀梯、过火海[1]。爬刀梯时，在平地竖起高18米的木梯，两侧斜绑36把钢刀，表演者赤脚徒手，一步步攀到梯顶；当地人把它当作祭祀祖先的庄重环节，意在驱邪消灾、祈福平安[1]。
