上升村又称升平，在江门市鹤山市古劳镇东南，西江从村东流过，与南海九江镇隔江相望，2016年列入「第五批广东省古村落」，是古劳水乡的组成部分，也是香港李氏家族和王老吉创始人王泽邦的故乡[1][2][3]。

历史沿革[edit]

此地旧时统称升平，后来一分为二，该村处升平河上游，故称上升。据村志，明初（约1368年）李、冯、黄、邓等姓先民自南雄珠玑巷迁到鹤山维墩定居[1]。1958年设上升大队，1986年称上升管理区，1998年起为上升村民委员会[1]。

人口经济[edit]

2007年约3600人，村里分33个生产队，头渡桥、二渡桥等也在其中[1]。村里的港澳同胞和海外侨胞较多，是江门的侨村[3]。

名胜古迹[edit]

李家成故居在二度桥村1至9号，清代建筑，八座砖木平房并列，当地俗称“八座”，列入2002年公布的第3批文物保护单位[1][3]。李氏家族在香港有“一门俊杰、五代豪门”之称[3]。村内另有王泽邦故居和黄百鸣祖居[3]。水龙桥在上升南湾祖附近，有两百多年历史，原长约1千米，今存300多米，呈“S”形，是水乡现存最长的石板桥；头度桥一带夏季荷花盛开，2025年的报道提到游客专程前往赏荷[2][4]。

荣誉[edit]

上升村在2016年10月列入「第五批广东省古村落」；2021年12月，获评2021年度广东省卫生村；2026年1月，进入广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村名单[1]。
