古桥村是广东省江门市鹤山市雅瑶镇下辖的行政村，在镇境东北，距镇区4.5公里，古蚕河流经村内，佛开高速公路从境内通过。[1]村下共有8个自然村，名为红石、桥坑、阜城、卢屋、仁和、东边坑、砣咀、龙田和早禾冲。[1]2026年3月，古桥村又被列入广东省第三批“百千万工程”的典型村镇。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网所载村情，南宋咸淳二年（1266年），南雄李氏迁到桃源禄洞定居，后人再迁来此地立村；村中有李、张、刘、卢、陈、梁等姓。[1]

清代属古劳都，民国至1949年后初期属鹤山一区；1957年并乡属越塘乡，1958年入雅瑶公社。到1962年，红石、仁和、桥坑、龙口四个大队合并，成了古桥大队，1983年称古桥乡，1986年撤区建镇后称现名，1993年划为沙坪控制区。[1]

地理环境与人口[edit]

总面积8363.3亩，耕地2151亩，鱼塘320亩，以垌田居多。条目载总人口2858人。[1]

经济[edit]

种植水稻、芋、粉葛和各类蔬菜，村内有塑料厂、线厂等个体私营工商企业31家。[1]

荣誉[edit]

古桥村被列入广东省2018年“民主法治示范村（社区）”的创建单位。[2]
