沃富村在开平市大沙镇的北部，村委会距镇政府约10公里，下设10个村民小组。[1]2004年沃江、富食两个村民委员会合并，各取一字，成为现名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清代时归恩平县静德都，民国年间划入恩平县第六区，1949年后改隶恩平县尖石乡。[1]1961年起成为开平县大沙公社辖下的富食大队；1984年改设富食乡人民政府，1987年称富食管理区，1999年为富食村民委员会，2004年再与沃江村民委员会合并，更名沃富村民委员会。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

博雅地名网所录村情记人口1759人、503户，耕地519亩，未注明统计年份。[1]2024年的水库移民美丽家园项目申报报告把沃江新村（沃一至沃四村）和富食村（富食一至三村）列入建设范围。[2]

2019年9月，沃富村被列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；2026年3月被认定为广东省第三批「百千万工程」典型村镇。[1]
