桥新村是广东省江门市开平市龙胜镇东南部的行政村，东邻现龙村，南接马冈镇，西通梧村，北至大雄村，省道274线贯穿村境，距镇政府约4.4公里。[1][2]村委会辖桥新、棹山、竹林、沙湾4个自然村。[1][3]开平市「总有党员在身边」党建品牌源于此村，2023年11月它入选广东省「百千万工程」首批典型县镇村。[4][1]

博雅地名网记，全村445户、1742人，总面积3615.3亩，耕地1011亩，其中水田940亩。[1]2024年1月编制的村庄规划则写作：户籍人口1891人（435户），常住989人（251户），均为2023年末数，规划范围约2.62平方千米；村内有鹅寮河，沿河有较大面积的滩涂。[3]

经济[edit]

龙胜镇政府的报道称，桥新村整治「非农化」「非粮化」农田和撂荒地，流转农业用地约800亩，村集体每年得收入22万元；这些地采用水稻与马蹄轮作，另完成垦造水田28.8公顷（432亩）。[4]

村里配合镇里为金牛山产业园收储土地约600亩，计划用40亩留成地建厂房，并动员10家小微企业入驻园区。[4]

文化[edit]

每年农历二月初一至三月中下旬，龙胜镇张桥一带的自然村举办张桥庙会，海内外张氏宗亲回乡参加。[4]村里编有《桥新乡贤录》，张氏乡贤成立张桥公益慈善联谊会，每年筹集助学金。[4]庆「张真君诞」也在桥新等村流传。[5]村庄规划把东原古庙列为需要保护的对象。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2020年，桥新村获评江门市基层党建示范村；2021年4月被授予新一批江门市文明村镇称号，同年12月获2021年广东省卫生村；2019年9月上榜2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[4][1]村庄规划还提到，村里获得广东省森林乡村称号，并入选江门市「红色美丽侨村」。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

村名来自过去村民委员会设在桥新小学。[1]清代时归开平县长静都；民国年间归第二区张桥乡；1963年划入龙胜公社现龙大队，1974年单设桥新大队；1984年起为桥新乡；1989年称管理区；1999年起设桥新村民委员会。[1]
