渔业村是广东省台山市汶村镇下辖的行政村，设在原横山镇的海圩，西面隔海与北陡镇相望，北接横山村，南面隔横山涌与冲口村相邻[1]。这是一个专为渔民设立的村委会，下设渔业一村、二村、三村[1]。横山渔港就在村内，它是台山的三大渔港之一[1][4]。

村民以海洋捕捞和海水养殖为业，作业范围遍及珠江三角洲沿海[1]。据镇政府网站的村情介绍，渔港有现代化渔船四百多艘；近年在国家扶持渔民转产转业的政策下，不少渔民从单一捕捞转向兼营加工、商贸[1]。

横山渔港是国家二级渔港。据镇人大2023年的介绍，渔港的水域有10万平方米，其中港池3.5万平方米，平时停泊渔船约460艘，避风时可容纳约600艘[2]。当时渔民反映，渔获多数无法在本港上岸交易，只能运到别处的码头[2]。2023年10月，渔港升级改造一期完工，投入约2700万元，新建渔获码头100米、道路320米、护岸190米，疏浚约10万立方米；二期计划投资1.3亿元，按国家一级渔港的标准规划，拟建一座水产品贸易中心，以及冷链物流园和深加工区[3]。2025年，横山渔港被列入省级渔港经济区[5]。镇里同时推进渔业村入海污水的治理[6]。

2023年8月16日休渔期结束前，不少住在城里的渔民提前回村准备出海[2]。2021年起，渔业村委会建立了全港渔船的微信联络系统，并为渔船配备卫星定位、救生和灭火设备[2]。2023年7月台风「泰利」来袭前，汶村镇协助外地渔船避险，海南、湛江、阳江等地的94艘渔船、301名渔民进入横山渔港[4]。
