渔业社区由1958年3月组建的海丰渔业社发展而来，占地约46亩，位于黄岐中部，黄岐“九村涌”从西北侧流过。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
沿革如下：1958年为海丰渔业社；1961年称海丰渔业大队，隶属南海县渔业人民公社；1965年5月改名黄岐生产大队；1984年10月为黄岐渔业乡；1987年为凤鸣镇黄岐渔业村；1988年归黄岐镇；1999年4月属黄岐街道；2005年1月归大沥镇。[1]
人口民族[edit]
登记常住382户、1533人，其中农村经济组织成员占1475人；住房为14座公寓、490个套间，没有私人宅基地。[1]
经济[edit]
2009年国民经济总收入约1.57亿元，人均8317元，村级财政收入197.6万元；集体收入主要靠出租厂房、商铺和工商业用地，仍有约90人捕鱼。[1]
渔业社区入选2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位，名单于2019年9月公布。[1]
