岗美村是台山市白沙镇下辖的行政村，在镇境北部，地处丘陵，与五围村、新三八村以及开平市的塘美村委会相邻；离台城约21千米，可通汽车。[1] 村委会设在岗美圩，村名即由此而来。[1][2] 2026年镇政府资料记人口2390人，设19个村民小组。[1]

据百度百科，岗美村在2025年获评第七届全国文明村镇。[4]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时期，岗美一带归秩祜乡，属台山县第四区；新中国成立后改称六美乡（博雅地名网记为1951年）。[1][2] 1958年设岗美大队，归三八公社，1986年改称管理区，1998年成立村委会。[1] 2004年，原同乐村委会并入岗美，组成今天的岗美村委会。[1] 2006年三八镇撤销后，岗美村划归白沙镇。[5]

地理环境[edit]

全村有耕地2279.17亩，水田占1458.72亩，另有鱼塘351亩；镇政府资料记岗地51亩，百度百科则记820.45亩。[1][4] 村里建有排灌站。[1]

经济[edit]

农业以种水稻为主。[1] 镇政府资料称这里的个体手工业较发达，有塑料、工模制作和橡胶三个行业。[1] 岗美圩上有商场、岗美酒家和数十个个体摊档，村里还有卫生站、信用社和文化室。[1]

村里的市场是2000年由江门日报社结对扶贫援建的，经过规范管理，每年为村委会带来近20万元收入。[3] 2025年8月，村里成立强村富民公司，经营村集体的闲置物业；村民中有一些黑山羊养殖户，每户养几十只到上百只不等，多为散养，村里正扶持这一产业。[3]

文化[edit]

村里与广东新华发行集团合作，把村委会的一处闲置房屋改成「新华悦读空间」，二楼是全天免费开放的书屋，一楼出租开店。[3] 潮美村文化楼前搭起雨棚后，村民自发办起了「集体食堂」，经费靠村民随意捐助，账目在微信群里公开。[3] 百度百科还提到村里建有秩祜书舍。[4]
