大岭村是广东省江门市台山市水步镇下辖的行政村，在镇境中部，离水步圩约2千米，面积5平方千米，辖18条自然村、13个村民小组。[1] 世居的村民都是汉族，属广府民系，说台山话，以林姓为主。2014年8月，一批重庆三峡库区的移民迁到村里，聚居在步新村。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村子东面和南面是步溪村、灌田村，西面和北面是下洞村、横塘村。村子位于县道旁，台开快线和中开高速公路两条新路在村境交会。[1]

经济[edit]

据镇政府资料，全村农业用地共2358亩，其中鱼塘218亩、果园265亩、岗地401亩，其余1474亩为水田。[1] 主要作物是水稻和甘蔗，都已成片规模种植。[1]

姓氏宗族[edit]

村里的林姓据称是从中原南迁而来的。步新村的三峡移民则以崔、陈、汪三姓居多。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

村中的老房子是典型的广府民居：一座房屋分三间、前后两进，两侧是廊和房，中间为天井和厅堂，可供两户人家同住。大门用花岗岩做门框，门口装有脚门、趟栊和大门，当地称为「三件头」。[1]

这类民居散布在各自然村，以南安村保存得较完整，房屋排列整齐；南安村旁另有一座和睦碉楼。[1]

大岭村获得过「广东省乡村治理示范村」「江门市基层党建示范村」「江门市先进党支部」「台山市先进民兵营」等称号。[1]
