洞阁村位于双水镇北端，隔潭江与会城的七堡相望，水源充足。[1] 村中有历史较长的李氏家庙。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名原是「缯戙角」，是潭江转弯处用渔网（罾）捕鱼的好地方，后来为避俗用谐音改作「洞阁」。[1] 明洪武十五年（1382年），李姓先祖从会城迁来立村，明万历县志和清康熙县志都作「盘溪」，以流经村旁的盘溪得名，属潮居都。[1] 康熙年间（1662年—1722年）先后扩建子阁、新阁两个居民点，才改称洞阁。[1] 民国时属第六区小冈乡，1950年代先后属梅冈乡、罗坑区和梅江管理区，1961年单设洞阁大队，隶小冈人民公社，1980年代改称乡、村委会。[1]

经济[edit]

村内设4个村民小组，常住人口797人，耕地1056亩，包括水稻432亩、鱼塘442亩。[1] 以种水稻为主，养殖四大家鱼和小鱼。[1]
