邦龙村在双水镇东南，村舍分布在天苍公路两旁，距双水圩10公里，属民田区。[1] 村在虎山西侧，旁边有小河涌，风水师认为村边有龙气，「旁」与「邦」在土话里谐音，村名由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清顺治年间（1644年—1661年），梁姓先祖自小冈迁入，邓姓先祖则来自岭头。[1] 道光县志记作「邦冲上，梁姓；邦冲下，邓姓」，民国有邦冲里，1949年后称邦龙。[1] 民国时属第七区富路乡，1951年起随富美乡，1961年自富美大队分出，称邦龙大队；其后改乡、改村民委员会，1999年起沿用至今。[1]

经济[edit]

村委会下辖8个村民小组，面积4平方千米，有587户、1896人；耕地2051亩，以水稻为主，养鸭、鹅和鱼。[1] 村委会的收入来自土地、厂房、山地和鱼塘，年收入约20万元。[1] 2023年5月，邦冲村、水步村两个自然村获广东省爱卫会授予2022年广东省卫生村称号。[1]
