塔岭村在双水镇南部，距镇政府9公里，房屋依山而建，层层叠起像塔，因此得名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明成化年间（1465年—1487年），梁姓先祖从司前迁来建村。[1] 清康熙县志已有塔岭村。[1] 民国时属第七区天塔乡，1951年立塔岭乡；1957年划归沙岗乡，次年10月单设塔岭管理区，之后经历大队、乡等名称，1999年起称塔岭村委会。[1]

经济[edit]

村内设15个村民小组，人口3582人（男1647人，女1935人），中小学生953人；耕地4890亩，水果200亩，山林1500亩。[1] 2023年5月，村内的上沙村获广东省爱卫会授予2022年广东省卫生村称号。[1]
