历史沿革[edit]
村名与地形有关：这里原近海边，山坡前的河涌盛产蚝，「蚝」与「豪」谐音，因此叫豪山。[1] 北宋仁宗年间，张氏十六世张纯从会城迁到泷水；豪山始祖是张氏二十六世的张仲羽。[1] 清康熙县志已有豪山村。[1] 民国时属第七区天塔乡，1951年起先后属龙山乡、沙岗乡，1953年称豪山乡，1958年归东凌管理区，1961年单设豪山大队；1999年起称豪山村委会。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
张将军家庙建于清光绪十年（1884年），是朝廷为嘉奖张其光军功、赏银而建，三路三进；抗日战争时期县政府曾迁此办公，后用作校舍，现已空置。[1] 祖祠前立有一对御赐的华表。[1] 豪山奎阁为民国建筑，2010年12月公布为江门市第六批市级文物保护单位；村内另有仰云楼、三眼井等文物。[1][2]
近年村里修了栈道、仰云楼和荷花池，把景点串联起来，作为双水镇的「文化名片」，春节前后每天吸引游客约3000人次。[2]
经济[edit]
村内设6个村民小组，415户、1233人（男603人，女630人），耕地2903亩，另有山林1990亩。[1] 2023年5月，豪山村的新村获广东省爱卫会授予2022年广东省卫生村称号。[1]
著名人物[edit]
张其光生于清道光十一年，咸丰八年（1858年）募乡勇二百人从军北上浙江，此后三十多年带兵作战。[1] 新会流传「文有梁启超，武有张其光」的说法，这里的「武」指的就是他。[1]
