木江村在双水镇的中部，距双水圩约3公里，村名来自南面的木江河和西面的木江山。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

相传南宋景炎年间（1276年—1278年），简姓先祖从今开平市的钱岗迁来立村。[1] 村子东、西、北三面各有一座小山，曾称「慕江」，又叫「三山」，1921年定名木江。[1] 民国时属第七区双水乡，其后一度并入三山乡，1958年起称木江管理区，1980年代改称木江乡，1999年5月撤区建委，现名木江村委会沿用至今。[1]

经济[edit]

村内面积约6平方千米，设5个村民小组，有536户、1612人，耕地共1376亩，水稻田占1005亩，其余为鱼塘（105亩）、花卉（220亩）和少量水果、蔬菜地。[1] 2007年的资料记载全村人均收入5951元。[1]
