东宁村是江门市江海区外海街道下辖的行政村，在外海东面，北临西江，南与七东村相接，外睦公路从村旁经过。[1][2] 辖区面积0.45平方千米，分7个村民小组，户籍人口1571人。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村名由旧时的「东宁社」而来；1949年以后，这里属中路乡的一部分，其后区划屡经调整，1999年撤区建村，2004年改称江门市江海区外海街道东宁村民委员会。[1] 台山市端芬镇另有一个同名的东宁村，两者不是同一处。[1]

人口民族[edit]

街道办事处网站介绍，村里有村民住户500多户，外来流动人口1000多人；村委会由3人组成，村民代表27名。[2]

经济[edit]

村办工业园3个，入驻非公有制企业60多家，行业有发光二极管灯饰、小家电、五金配件和注塑；村级经济收入在2023年为473万多元。[1][2] 村里设有卫生站和老人活动中心，道路已全部硬底化。[1] 东宁村也在淘宝村名单之列。[1]

村党总支2018年9月建立，有党员50名。[2] 村里获得过「广东省卫生村」「江门市文明村」等称号。[1][2]
