直冲村是江门市江海区外海街道下辖的行政村，在街道腹部，东面连沙津横社区，北面到中华大道，南邻中路片，西面与东升村、四大社区相连，辖区面积5平方千米。[1][2] 村里分19个村民小组，百度百科称有23处自然村落。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

据百度百科，明洪武三年（1370年）陈氏的先祖在这里开村；2004年9月，村改称江门市江海区外海街道直冲村民委员会。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村离街道办事处约0.8公里，临近外海圩市；村里有下街涌和直涌两条河，村内的前进路与外睦公路相接，水陆交通方便。[1]

人口民族[edit]

街道办事处网站介绍，户籍人口5500多人，分属1700多户，外来流动人口1800多人；百度百科的常住人口数字为4868人。[1][2]

经济[edit]

村办有直冲工业园的A区、B区、C区，入驻非公有制企业90多家，行业有发光二极管灯饰、五金冲压和小家电制造。[1][2] 村级经济收入在2023年为7276万元；百度百科称2022年村集体收入为6310万元，并说村里成立了强村富民公司。[1][2]

村党委2012年4月建立，有党员142名。[2] 村里获得过「广东省民主法治示范村」「广东省乡村治理示范村」「江门市文明村」等称号，2023年列入广东省首批乡村振兴示范村创建名单，并入选「百县千镇万村高质量发展工程」首批典型村。[1][2]
