常住四千八百多人（其中非农业户口两千多），外来人口一万八千多；党总支下辖8个分支部，党员164人。[1]

经济[edit]

1994年村里推行土地股份合作制，成立股份集团公司和11个分公司。当地产业有制衣、制鞋、纸箱包装、家电、电线电缆、塑料加工，以及厂房、土地、店铺出租。[1]

2009年全村经济总收入近23.7亿元；经联社集体纯收入4686万元，人均股份分红超过九千元。[1]

文化[edit]

六联村2004年成为「广东省卫生村」；2005年评为大沥镇红旗基层党组织；2009年验收评为南海区三星级健康村。六联小学2005年评为广东省一级学校。[1]
