后宅镇在广东省汕头市南澳县，位于南澳岛西部，南濒前江湾，东邻深澳镇，是南澳县人民政府驻地，也就是全县的县城所在。据百度百科，全镇面积41.98平方千米，2019年末户籍人口43592人，下辖3个社区和20个行政村[1]。渔业是镇上居民最主要的生计，同时还有盐业、农业和水产品加工；山顶农村在2021、2022年连续被列入淘宝村名单[2]。镇境古称隆澳，1933年南澳县城从深澳迁到这里[3]。

历史沿革[edit]

明万历三年（1575年），朝廷在南澳设协守漳、潮等处的副总兵，第二年又在隆澳筑城，与深澳、云澳成犄角之势。隆澳是镇境东部的古称，名称来自前江湾畔的隆眼砂澳[3]。

镇名“后宅”有一段来历。明代陈天资所修《东里志》记有“后汐澳”（也写作后泽澳），民间把“泽”读成“宅”；清《南澳志》则说隆澳南面临大海、北面向内海，南边叫前江，北边叫后汐，当地人读“汐”近“宅”，因而写作后宅[2][3]。

1914年南澳划为三个区，隆澳在第二区；1933年广东民政厅批准在隆澳设第二行署，县城随之由深澳迁来，也就是今天的后宅镇[3]。1954年5月南澳归粤东行政公署管辖，建后宅镇；1961年3月改为公社，到1984年2月再获省政府批准，恢复镇的建制[3]。据博雅地名网，现今镇政府所在一带，1952年曾建隆西乡，1958年改为公社[2]。

2017年，山顶、龙地、港畔、宫前各村的“渔村”与“农村”重新分开设立村民委员会，西山村也分为农村与盐村，因此全镇的行政村数目增加到20个[4]。

地理环境[edit]

后宅镇处在南澳岛西部，南面是大海，西面和北面隔海与澄海区、饶平县相望，水上交通方便。百度百科记其面积为41.98平方千米，博雅地名网则记为29.1平方千米，两处口径不同[1][2]。气候属亚热带季风气候[1]。

人口民族[edit]

百度百科记载，截至2019年末，全镇户籍人口43592人；另据博雅地名网引述第七次全国人口普查结果，后宅镇常住人口为3.87万人，在南澳县各乡镇中居首位[1][2]。

经济[edit]

镇内以渔业为主，海上捕捞与海水养殖并行，特产南澳“宅鱿”；此外有原盐生产与加工，工业方面有化工、绣花、渔网加工、五金修配等小厂，农业以水稻、蔬菜和水果为主[2]。到2019年，全镇有工业企业32个，其中规模以上的1个[1]。2011年的数据是：一般公共预算收入预计达1000万元，农民人均纯收入5289元[1]。

2022年10月，后宅镇进入当年的淘宝镇名单；山顶农村在2021年和2022年的淘宝村名单中都榜上有名[2]。

文化[edit]

后宅元宵渔灯赛会在农历正月初八到十八举行，源头是清代海岛上元宵节的祭祀庙会，延续三百多年，2009年进入广东省第三批省级非遗名录。前江武庙与各村理事会负责筹办，村民用竹木扎出鱼虾等海产形状的渔灯，上街巡游，十八日各乡队伍齐聚前江武庙表演[6]。博雅地名网还将南澳渔民舞草龙习俗列为此地的民俗[2]。

名胜古迹[edit]

象山遗址在象山西北朝海的坡面，属新石器时代早期，1993年起多次调查，在坡地和地层断面采集到150多件石制品和一块两面印有编织纹的夹砂陶片[2]。东坑仔遗址在镇东北的山岗上，1990年发现，属青铜时代早期的浮滨文化，出土陶器、石器，陶器有大口尊、壶、罐、豆、器座等[2]。后宅人民公社旧址在隆澳大街，是约1959年建成的二层石块与水泥混合结构楼房，最初是盐业人民公社，1968年改称后宅人民公社[2]。

黄花山一带是广东南澳海岛国家森林公园的核心。公园1992年12月由原国家林业部批准建立，总面积2.06万亩，约占南澳岛面积的六分之一，距县城约4公里[5]。其中龟埕景区设有摩崖书法石刻区，镌刻书法作品1300余幅，还有南澳抗日纪念馆和知青旧址[8]。

著名人物[edit]

明嘉靖年间的海上武装首领许朝光，据百度百科记载，曾在后汐澳筑许公城，自称澳主，并在南澳建寨设市；后被部将莫应夫所杀[7]。

荣誉[edit]

2006年12月，后宅镇被广东省林业厅批准为广东省森林小镇示范镇；2017年9月又被认定为2017年广东省森林小镇[2]。
