灯塔是汕头市濠江区玉新街道下辖的社区，位于河浦大道西侧，南接深汕高速公路，总面积1.4平方千米。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村子创于明崇祯年间（1628—1644年），先民在此搭寮定居，称新寮村，旧属潮阳县招收都。1951年改名灯塔，名字寓意指引人们向着正确的方向；1958年称灯塔大队，1983年称灯塔乡，1994年设灯塔村委会，属玉新街道办事处。[1]
