下衙是汕头市濠江区玉新街道下辖的社区，临近濠江，总面积约600亩。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村子创于明嘉靖年间（1522—1564年）。因村境高处曾驻军、设有武衙，村址在衙的下方，故名下衙。1983年是岗背乡辖下的下衙大队，1986年改称村委会并归河浦镇，1994年起划归玉新街道办事处。[1]
经济与古迹[edit]
据社区简介，全社区243户、1078人，农田保护区约280亩，居民以种养业和外出务工为生。社区内有历史古迹赤沙渡西庵。[1] 2026年3月，广东省第三批“百千万工程”典型村镇名单认定了下衙。[1]
