历史沿革[edit]
村建于清康熙五年（1666年）。相传村地形如鲤鱼，又有古井，称“鲤脐”，因潮汕话中“鲤脐”与“里前”读音相近，后写作里前。[1][2]
1921年至1952年属潮阳县凤安乡，1956年起属钱塘乡、河浦乡。1994年河浦区设三个街道，里前设村委会，归滨海街道；2003年濠江区成立后设里前居委会，沿用至今。[2]
经济[edit]
社区面积1.05平方公里，居民1747人，419户，有耕地521亩、山地354亩。广东省农业农村厅2021年9月公布「第二批广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」，里前以东京薯列于其中。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，里前列入2018年「广东省‘民主法治示范村（社区）’创建单位」名单。[1]
