上店是汕头市濠江区滨海街道的社区，南临南海，东接东陇，西接林后，北接钱塘，明崇祯年间建村，因村境内旧有一家小店而得名。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村建于明崇祯年间（1628—1644年），起初就叫上店，得名于当年村里的一家小店。[1][2] 民国时期属潮阳县第三区，1940年代初改属第四区风安乡；新中国成立后属潮阳县十一区，1956年起历经钱塘乡、河浦乡、达农公社和河浦公社，1987年起隶河浦镇。1999年设上店村民委员会，2003年濠江区成立后称上店居委会，属滨海街道。[2]

经济与人口[edit]

社区总面积六百多亩，944人、180户，土地基本是农田，工业项目难以引进，居民靠外出打工和务农谋生。社区称自己属省、市帮扶的贫困社区，年集体收入仅1600元，来自一口约十亩的淡水鱼塘的出租。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2017年10月，上店获广东省爱国卫生运动委员会授予的「第一批广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
