金凤社区在汕头老城区，隶属金平区小公园街道，设立时归新福街道。辖区面积约0.045平方千米。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

汕头新八景之一的金凤坛在辖区内，社区以此得名。[1]

2002年，原福平、茭萣、万胜居委会和荣华居委会的一部分合并为金凤居委会，此前归升平区福合街道，其后在2003年3月的区划调整中划入金平区新福街道。[1]2019年，新福、永祥、海安、同益四个街道并入新设的小公园街道，社区随之改隶。[2]

社区概况[edit]

辖区有金平区第一人民医院和市交警支队第三大队，干果市场是主要产业，主干道有民族路和福平路。[1]据博雅地名网，2026年3月，金凤社区被认定为「广东省第三批“百千万工程”典型村镇」。[1]
