陇头是汕头市金平区岐山街道的社区，东临韩江，北到岐山水利路，约0.8平方公里（连同已被征用的土地），简介记有1444人[1]。
地名由来[edit]
陇头村创村之地原叫“陇顶埔”，后来这一带沿沙陇形成一乡接一乡的村落，从陇头到下岐合称“十社”。陇头在最北端，排行头社，因此称陇头[1]。
历史事件与荣誉[edit]
简介引汕头市地方志：1938年日军占领厦门与南澳，当年10月潮汕中心县委在陇头陈氏的磐祖祠开了一次扩大会议，到会十多人，包括中心区委书记林美南，议题是组织武装保卫潮汕[1]。2022年8月，陇头列入当年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）的创建单位[1]。
