大路是汕头市金平区岐山街道的社区，在街道东部，离汕头中心市区约4公里，面积0.25平方公里；简介记有199户，常住893人，全部是汉族[1][2]。

地名由来[edit]

相传古时村前是一片海湾，隔溪在东边的是鸥汀乡。村东有个叫“埠头”的地方，作用像市场，鸥汀人赶集要坐陇头渡，或乘大路村前的“关爷码头渡”。护堤路未建时，从鸥汀、浮陇往岐山去的人都走一条大路，沿路渐成村落，故称大路村[1][2]。

位置与经济[edit]

东面以梅溪桥闸与陇头社区相接，西边是寨头社区，北边是马西社区。社区内有小学、幼儿园、敬老室、医疗站各一所，另辟80亩工业区，2009年工业总产值为3200万元[2]。2004年街道授予它先进党组织，2008年广东省社区建设领导小组评其为“六好”平安和谐社区[1]。
