鹏城社区是大鹏街道下辖的社区，原为鹏城村，位于大鹏办事处东面，紧邻大亚湾核电站；大鹏所城即坐落在社区内，深圳别称「鹏城」由此而来。[1][2][3]

社区面积20.5平方千米，分为7个居民小组：东南、东北、西南、西北四个方位组，加上乌冲、四和和较场尾，户籍630户1828人，总人口1.4万余人。[1] 2003年10月它与所城一起入选首批中国历史文化名村。[2]

地名与沿革[edit]

社区名出自明代在此设千户所城，有「沿海所城，大鹏为最」之说。[2] 当地的考古发掘表明，新石器时代中晚期已有先民居住；公元331年起属东晋新设的宝安县。[2] 明洪武二十七年（1394年）设所城，成为抵御倭寇、海盗的海防要塞。[2] 村民多为当年驻军的后代。[3]

名胜古迹[edit]

大鹏所城东西345米、南北285米，现存东、南、西三座城门；城内保存着赖恩爵、刘起龙两位水师提督的将军第，另有郑氏司马第、林仕英大夫第；庙宇有侯王古庙、天后宫和华光庙。[4] 2001年6月它被国务院列入「全国重点文物保护单位」；2012年12月，鹏城社区进了首批中国传统村落名录。[2][4]

社区境内另有东山寺、大鹏粮仓，以及刘起龙墓和赖太母刘老夫人墓；刘起龙墓原在大鹏镇大坑上村，1984年因大亚湾核电站施工而迁到现址。[2]

经济与荣誉[edit]

2003年底，社区成立海港旅游公司，办旅游业务，并举办首届「鹏城杯」摄影大赛和「千人将军宴」。[3] 2022年3月，鹏城社区获认定为「第一批深圳市绿色（宜居）社区」；此外还先后获深圳市、广东省文明村和卫生村称号。[1][2]
