向南社区是深圳市南山区南山街道下辖的社区，辖区约0.8平方千米，分向南东村和向南旧村两个片区，紧靠南山街道办事处。[1]社区由原向南村和墩头居委会合并而成，村内有郑氏宗祠、叶氏宗祠、侯王古庙、大板桥等区级文物保护单位。[1][2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

百度百科称向南村始建于明朝，因郑姓族人建房都朝南而得名；据百度百科，万历元年（1573年）以前归东莞县，其后先后隶属新安县、宝安县，1990年起属南山区。[2]

解放后，向南先属新民乡、南头公社，后设向南大队，管辖向南、丁头、南光、桂庙等自然村。1982年向南大队分设向南、南光两个村委会，向南村委会由向南、向南东、丁头、大板桥巷等自然村组成。[1]1992年9月改为居委会；2001年8月，向南居委会与墩头居委会合并，设向南社区居委会。[1]

人口民族[edit]

辖区有楼宇约1100栋，16000多户。据百度百科，2015年村户籍人口约842人，外来人口约3.6万。[1][2]

经济[edit]

村里传统种荔枝。向南实业股份公司成立于1992年，1995年村里建起白庙工业村，招来来料加工厂；这片工业村在2008年改建成瑞峰花园，如今收入主要来自出租厂房和商铺。[2]据2026年的报道，向南村城市更新项目的权利人核实已完成。[4]

文化[edit]

向南侯王诞祭典在2008年进入南山区非物质文化遗产名录，2009年又升入深圳市名录；向南醒狮同为市级项目。[2]社区在2022年8月被认定为「第二批深圳市绿色（宜居）社区」。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

区级文物保护单位有：向南郑氏宗祠（清代）、侯王古庙（清代）、位于丁头村的墩头叶氏宗祠和南头大板桥。[3]
