福民社区是深圳市福田街道下辖的社区，面积0.75平方千米，北到滨河路，南到裕亨路，皇岗路和福强路分别是它的东、西边界。[1]

名称与沿革[edit]

社区的范围大体就是旧时的福民新村，因此得名。[1] 福民居民委员会1996年9月成立，2002年5月居改社后改称社区居民委员会。[1]

人口[edit]

据社区介绍，辖区内有居民小区9个、单位174家、学校3所，总人口约1.48万，户籍人口约9800人。[1]

荣誉[edit]

福民社区于2022年3月被认定为深圳市首批绿色（宜居）社区；2023年1月，司法部、民政部又将它命名为第九批全国民主法治示范村（社区）。[1]
