西岭社区位于莲塘街道罗沙路中段，东至鹏基立交桥，南到莲塘河，北抵东湖公园南门，西至罗芳山口，面积约1.15平方千米。[1]1992年农村城市化时，这里转为城市社区。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

西岭社区居委会成立于2002年。到2006年8月，西岭、广岭的社区工作站合二为一，对外只设西岭社区工作站，其下仍分西岭、广岭两个居委会。[1]
