新南社区是深圳市罗湖区南湖街道下辖的社区，据博雅地名网，村子在明朝已建成，现为城区中的商业社区。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，村子建于明朝。此后行政归属数次变化：1958年10月隶属红旗人民公社，1978年改属平湖公社；1986年设新南村民委员会，2002年9月改制为社区居委会，名称延续至今。[1]

地理环境[edit]

社区夹在文锦南路与东门南路之间，北界深南东路，南界春风路，辖区面积0.27平方千米。[1][2]

人口民族[edit]

工作站介绍称（未注明年份），社区户籍居民3380人，常住11350人，暂住7970人；区内经营单位和个体工商户合计882家。[2]

文化[edit]

社区居民自发组成了多支文艺团体，如彩霞艺术队、腰鼓队、合唱团。[2]2009年，新南社区被广东省民政厅评为「六好」平安和谐社区；2022年3月被认定为「第一批深圳市绿色（宜居）社区」。[1][2]
