上澜村在南雄市澜河镇中南部，四周是葛坪村、上矽村、全安镇和澜河村，离澜河圩2公里。[1]据博雅地名网，此地也有拦河坝，处在河流上游，原称「上拦」，因「拦」与「澜」谐音，写作「上澜」。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年称上澜农会，1954年改初级社，1956年改高级社，1961年成为上澜大队，1983年设上澜乡，1988年后改称管理区，1998年12月撤销管理区、改设上澜村委会，沿用至今。[1]

地理与经济[edit]

据博雅地名网所载，全村总面积36327亩，其中山林20788亩、毛竹11337亩、水稻1116亩，森林覆盖率70%；设13个小组，总人口1434人。村民收入主要来自养猪、养鸡、种毛竹杉木和外出务工，集体收入来自白果场外包；近年鼓励村民种植冬瓜，农作物以花生、优质稻为主。[1]另据2023年的报道，村内有香芋种植基地，市委政法委与市二中结对帮扶，出资改造沿街外墙。[2]

2023年4月，上澜村列入「2022年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位名单；同年5月，获广东省爱卫会授予「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
