洞底村是南雄市澜河镇西北方的山区行政村，东邻白云村，西接百顺镇，北面与江西省的河洞交界，距澜河圩15公里。[1]村名取自明清时的一条驿道：它从帽子峰的洞头经芳坑、中垌到达这里，再往前就是江西河洞，村子处在尽头，所以叫「洞底」。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1949年称洞底农会，1954年改初级社，1956年改高级社，1958年成为洞底大队，1983年设洞底乡，1988年改称管理区，1998年12月撤销管理区、改设洞底村委会，沿用至今。[1]
地理与经济[edit]
据博雅地名网所载，全村总面积27937亩，其中山林25455亩、毛竹8022亩、水稻1090亩，森林覆盖率70%；下设8个自然村，总人口1169人。村民收入主要来自毛竹、杉木和外出务工，集体收入来自林场和电站发包；近年发展红豆杉种植，计划建成红豆杉种植基地，农作物以优质稻为主。[1]
2024年3月，洞底村被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」；2023年4月，列入「2022年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位名单。[1]
